- This park is infested with fleas and has been for months. Any time we take our dog here, we check for fleas on her and there always are some. She is on flea meds and we don't notice this issue from any other location than this park. Please treat this area for fleas more effectively. Please include the joint use park area as well as the areas around the Serra Mesa Rec Center. One suspicion is that there are houses that border this park, and some have mesh fences with several aggressive dogs. These could be the sources.
