This park is infested with fleas and has been for months. Any time we take our dog here, we check for fleas on her and there always are some. She is on flea meds and we don't notice this issue from any other location than this park. Please treat this area for fleas more effectively. Please include the joint use park area as well as the areas around the Serra Mesa Rec Center. One suspicion is that there are houses that border this park, and some have mesh fences with several aggressive dogs. These could be the sources.

PortaPotty unit was never picked up after the Rock-N-Roll Marathon placement late May 2026. It is not locked and is being used by transients for illegal activity. Several calls/message to United Toilets go unanswered.

Vehicle Habitation Ordinance, living in a vehicle is banned between 9 PM and 6 AM, and at all times within 500 feet of a school or home. This vehicle has been in the neighborhood for weeks know. Clearly living in his vehicle. I’m not happy and concerned about this person and the safety of my children. He needs to leave. ASAP
